I've been terribly negligent in the care of this poor blog. I have a habit of this. (Why do you think it took me so long to actually get into the 'blogging era'?) I would make a blog- determined to follow through with it this time!!- and then forget to post...ever again.
This has happened more times than I care to admit. So, what's different this time around? Nothing, really, other than I have a group of friends who have all jumped into this blogging thing with me. Most of who will be joining me in Korea next summer- like Living with Seoul and Seoul' N Stuff, for sure.
With this motivation, hopefully I keep up with my blog. After all, 4 posts is most definitely a track record for me. Professional blogging? Here I come, baby!
Not much has happened on the Korea front other then my decision to push my leave date a month back. Now, instead of leaving in three days like was previously planned, I'll be leaving August 26th. Class won't start until September, but really, I have no mood to get to Korea a day before class and try to actually focus on anything. My lodging lady will just have to deal with some seemingly lost new girl coming into town and getting...well...lost, for a week, before any classes start.
I've been going over a check list in my head, trying to come up with anything I might have possibly overlooked in my planning of this venture. Passport? Check. Visa? Check. Converter for electrical devices? Check. Shots all up to date? Unfortunate check for that one, too. Minus the obvious (clean underwear, money) I have a feeling I'm going to be missing something. Hopefully it's nothing too important. As in, something I can just pick up in Seoul and not some intricate piece of documentation saying I'm allowed to come into the country.
Beyond that checklist, however, nothing of great importance has gone on since the last blog. (Other then the hotdog sale I mentioned before. Which...I broke even with. Haha.) Or maybe a lot has happened and I just didn't blog enough and now I've gone and forgotten it all. Either way, I don't have much to say today other then I'll try to have more to say more often. Sorry lovelies~
